A professional mole-catcher has defended the practice of displaying dead moles on fences, after 50 of the animals were photographed hanging on a Denbighshire fence “like trophies”. Mark Horsall said the practice is a “tradition” and allows farmers to be sure they pay for the right number of moles caught.
