What causes Sea-Monkeys to die?
Do not over feed. Over feeding can cause bacteria to multiply in the tank and once out of control the bacteria will eat up all the oxygen from the water and your Sea-Monkeys will suffocate and die.
How do you know if Sea-Monkeys died?
Dead Sea-Monkeys generally sink to the bottom of their tank and begin to decompose. If a Sea-Monkey is not moving at the bottom of the tank, the creature is probably dead. Dead Sea-Monkeys change color from their normal translucent to black as they decompose.
Can you bring Sea-Monkeys back to life?
Sea-Monkeys have the Jesus-like ability to “resurrect”. All that is required a great deal of patience. The secret is to let the water completely evaporate – a process that takes several weeks, making it even more excruciating than the waiting period prior to hatching.
Does light hurt Sea-Monkeys?
Basically, sea monkeys are attracted to light because the presence of light allows algae (food for the sea monkeys) to grow. Therefore, light = food for the sea monkeys, and they head towards the light (and hopefully reach their food) in order to survive.
