Where can I learn about dog breeding?
Your library and bookstore are invaluable sources of information about canine health and breeding. Some books, including the Complete Dog Book and American Kennel Club Dog Care and Training, are available in the AKC Store. The AKC Gazette and other dog magazines have informative articles about breeding as well.
What is a certified breeder?
Becoming a certified dog breeder is established on the premises of both ethics and morality, which are quite revered obligations. The entire goal of a breeding program's certification is primarily to raise the standards of the dogs in care.
Can anyone breed puppies?
