Oryx, also known as Gemsbok in South Africa is commonly found roaming the dunes and plains of Namibia. On my trip to Namibia, I ate this meat numerous times and it's one of my favorites. The meat tastes quite similar to beef but obviously leaner and just as juicy and succulent.
