The tufted gray langur, Semnopithecus priam, also known as the Madras gray langur and the Coromandel sacred langur, is an Old World monkey found in east Asia on the mainland of southeastern India and the island of Sri Lanka. They are widely distributed throughout tropical dry and coastal forests.
