I would say that the indoor area is for children up to about 10 years old and outdoors are good for all ages. We have been a few times with grandkids and neices between the ages of 5 to 10 and they all loved it but there is plenty of climbing stuff etc for teenagers too.

There is a fantastic outdoor playground suitable for 2-11yr olds and an indoor play area for ages 4+, but my boys been going in since he was 2 1/2, you just need to go around with them. The whole place is very interactive, with trails, info and questions about nature & ecology.
