What is decoquinate used for?
Decoquinate (brand name: Deccox®) is an antiparasitic medication used to prevent coccidia infections in dogs. It may also be effective in treating or preventing hepatozoonosis or sarcocystosis myositis.
Is decoquinate an antibiotic?
Decoquinate does not have antibacterial action. Decoquinate is not genotoxic and is not carcinogenic. Deccox® is safe for the consumer under the proposed conditions of use.
